Raheel Valiani is an Operating Principal at Staple Street Capital focused on optimizing and improving portfolio company operations.
Prior to joining Staple Street Capital, Mr. Valiani was Vice President of Business Operations at Jostens (a Platinum Equity portfolio company) where he led the creation, management, and execution of a Business Operations transformation plan, covering revenue generating and cost cutting initiatives.
Prior to Platinum Equity, Mr. Valiani worked at McKinsey, as a member of the Implementation practice where he led transformational work across many industries; semi-conductor, pharmaceutical, automotive, plastics, industrial. He also advised a Japanese company on their Additive Manufacturing strategy.
Prior to McKinsey, Mr. Valiani started his own company in Additive Manufacturing to cure musculoskeletal ailments. He cultivated his Additive Manufacturing knowledge while working for Shapeways as the Director of Operations and was responsible for running their Long Island City factory.
Prior to Shapeways, Mr. Valiani started his career at General Electric (GE) where he participated in leadership training programs and took on various business operations roles during his 8-year tenure.
Mr. Valiani received his B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.
